The core of the Tea Party message has nothing to do with racism, but opportunists with those views would certainly join the crowds and shout their views regardless of the feelings of the rest. That being said, it would shock me if it turned out that even as much as 2% of the Tea Party movement consisted of actual racists or bigots... yet many seem to be under the impression that it's supposed to be closer to 95-100%... this I can't understand. NO I AM NOT A REPUBLICAN idiot. its a little thing called independent. i am a libertarian! not a conservative or liberal. I oppose abortion because i am a Christian and i think it is wrong! I oppose gay marriage because it is DISGUSTING and the Bible says it is wrong. I'm not homophobic. i know several gay people, and i am not afraid of them. and i am definitely not anti-black. slavery is a sin. so i would have been an abolitionist. and i am good friends with an black boy. and here in Texas there is a whole bunch of hispanic people. i only know 3 black people. i know tons of mexicans. i am very close friends with a mexican. there are also several colored people in the Tea Party. i don't think a black guy can be anti black. don't call me or the tea party racist. and i am not anti semitic. My God's people are Jewish. My Lord and Savior was Jewish. My Holy Book was written by JEWS. I owe my life to Jews. Is this an indication the TEA Party is becoming a real threat to the left, it sure looks like it.
